In 1946, disaster struck. Upstream through the Park a patch of scrub were cleared along with the logs and branches pushed to the creek.Undaunted, the family members commenced the job of rebuilding. The Refreshment Rooms downstairs have been further than mend, so this service was moved upstairs, and only the framework of the constructing recreated.T
